Pet Sitting Software Prices Compared: What Each Tool Actually Costs (2026)

Time To Pet, PetExec, MoeGo, Gingr, and the flat-rate newcomers — compared on real monthly cost, not advertised price. Including the per-seat and per-van math most pricing pages hide.

Every pet sitting software pricing page shows you a number. Almost none of them show you your actual monthly cost — because that number depends on how many staff you have, how many vans you run, how many texts you send, and which features quietly live behind an upgrade.

This guide compares the major tools on real cost. Prices below are published rates as of mid-2026; vendors change pricing often, so treat these as a snapshot and verify before buying. (We'll flag where the advertised price and the real price diverge — including for our own product.)

Time To Pet

Time To Pet is the most established player, with a Lite plan at $25/month, a Solo plan at $50/month, and a Team plan at $40/month plus $16 per active user.

The number to watch is the per-user fee. A two-person team pays $56/month; three people pay $72; five pay $104. The per-seat model is fine if your team never grows — but it's a recurring tax on every hire, and it's the single most common complaint in reviews of the category.

Best for: established teams already invested in its workflow. Watch out for: the gap between the $25 Lite plan and what a growing team actually pays.

PetExec

PetExec's plans run roughly $29–99/month across Basic, Pro, and Enterprise tiers, scaling with business size and features. It's a long-standing option with a strong feature set for scheduling and client management.

Best for: businesses that want a mature, all-in-one system and don't mind tier gates. Watch out for: feature tiers — confirm the specific features you need are in the tier you're pricing.

MoeGo

MoeGo dominates the grooming side, and its pricing is the clearest example of advertised-vs-real divergence. Mobile plans are billed per van ($49 Basic / $99 Growth / $159 Ultimate), salon plans per location ($79 / $149 / $239).

A solo mobile groomer on Basic pays $49 — reasonable. But a two-van operation on Growth pays $198/month, because the price is per van. SMS allotments add another wrinkle: Basic includes ~200 texts/month, and a solo groomer sending confirmations, reminders, and on-my-way texts can exceed that before sending a single marketing message. Reviewers also frequently mention the forced migration from Square to MoeGo Payments and feature tier-gating.

Best for: busy grooming salons doing 5+ dogs/day that will use the automation. Watch out for: per-van math, SMS caps, and payment processing costs.

Gingr

Gingr targets boarding, daycare, and multi-location facilities, with pricing around $199–299/month at scale. It's deep on facility management — runs, occupancy, per-night billing — and priced accordingly.

Best for: facilities, not solo operators. Watch out for: it's priced for its power; solo sitters and walkers will pay for capability they don't use.

The flat-rate newcomers

A recent wave of tools is attacking the per-seat model directly — a sign of how much resentment it generates:

  • Nuzzo ($29 solo / $79 team) — mobile-first, flat tiers, no per-pet surcharges, payments flow directly sitter-to-client.
  • Trotter ($69 one-time solo / lifetime tiers) — a lifetime-license model with no per-staff fees, built by a sitter.
  • SitterEase — solo-focused, 0% commission, branded self-booking and intake forms.
  • Pupline ($49.98/mo facilities tier) — flat pricing down to the solo round, with per-night boarding billing.

PetAmigo (us — with the same honesty)

PetAmigo is $19/month for Solo Sitter (one professional, unlimited clients, all service types — sitting, grooming, walking, daycare, training, boarding) and $49/month for Agency with 3 seats included. No per-seat fees, no per-van fees, no SMS caps. The consumer side — Circles — is free, which is also why our client portal works differently: your clients get a free account that's useful to them even when you're not booking.

Best for: solo pros and small teams who want flat pricing and a client portal clients actually open. Honest limitation: we're newer than Time To Pet or Gingr — if you need deep facility modules (kennel runs, occupancy boards) today, a facility tool may fit better right now.

How to compare quotes fairly

When you evaluate any tool, ask four questions the pricing page won't answer:

  1. What does my next hire cost? Per-seat and per-van models hide this number.
  2. What are the message caps? SMS allotments are the most common hidden upsell.
  3. Which processor is mandatory, and at what rate? Forced payment migration is a real cost (2.6–2.9% + fees adds up).
  4. What's gated? Ask specifically which features on your must-have list live in a higher tier.
