Pet Profiles and Sharing
Create pet profiles, share them with a business or another account, and manage client invitations.
A pet profile holds everything a caregiver needs in one place: breed, age, dietary rules, medical notes, vet contact, and a photo.
Create a profile
Home → Pets → New pet. The form has three steps:
- Basic details — name and animal type (required), breed, age.
- Health & diet — dietary rules and medical notes. Anything a sitter or groomer must not miss goes here.
- Photo & vet — upload a photo (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or AVIF up to 5 MB) or paste an image URL, and add the vet's contact details.
Photos upload to your own storage folder — other users can only see photos of pets shared with them.
Share a pet with a workspace
Businesses need your pet's profile before they can book visits for it. There are two ways to link a pet:
Client invitation (the usual way)
The business sends you an invitation email from their workspace. Open the link, sign in or create a free account, then pick which pet to share. The business sees the profile immediately — no copying health notes into emails.
Share token (manual)
On your pet's card choose Share, generate a token, and send it to the business. They redeem it from their workspace Pets page. Tokens expire after 7 days and are single-use — if one lapses, just generate another.
What the business can see
Sharing exposes the profile — name, type, breed, age, photo, dietary rules, medical notes, and vet contact — to members of that workspace. It also lets the workspace create bookings for the pet. Your other pets stay private until you share them.
